Ian & Susan have been with 7 Financial Planning for several years, and we recently asked them to tell us more about their experience with us throughout their retirement.
We were so pleased with what they said and we couldn't have written it better ourselves! Have a read of their feedback below:

"Just a quick line to thank you for the past years support, and to wish you a Happy New Year going forward. I'm glad to see you had some quality time away in Tenerife.
We cruised from Tenerife around the Canaries, great time (too much drink), and I attach a picture from our New Years Eve meal.
The beauty of what you do is, as you said, you've kept it human. We both feel quite relaxed when we come to see you and I know, should anything happen to me, there is a back up for Susan in terms of financial planning.
In fact, for the first time in a long time, she is asking questions and making some suggestions in what we should be targeting this year. Keeping me on my toes now!
As I've only been involved with you, it's difficult to compare what you do against other advisors.
However, in talking to mates, they are quite surprised at how I describe the laid-back way of our discussions and/or meetings. In fact, one has said he has never discussed holidays with his advisor! I find that sad, really.
Both Susan and I love this, feel we're part of a family rather than business partners - please don't change, we love it.
At this stage, I can't see any ways to improve as you're always available to answer any queries.
Please keep up the regular updates as I find these useful, especially in telling us not to panic. We could have panicked when our ISA's dropped, but they are rallying nicely, whilst interest rates are slowly going the other way.
I was lucky in a sense that many years ago my friend, Ronnie, told me I should visit a financial planner. I always envisaged I would work to 66, so didn't see the need. However, he kept mentioning during our bike rides so I came to see yourself at Durham around 7 years ago.
I put the plan away to gather dust, but brought it out when I was offered redundancy package in early 2020 (just before covid).
I looked at the plan and saw I could retire at the age of 60! Wow, what a difference, and I feel so much better for this, and I know Susan does as well.
I think what I am trying to say is that more people should start preparing earlier in their life rather than leave it till retirement age. They would be amazed at what they can achieve.
I keep repeating this to a lot of friends and, of course, mention your name. "
